About ARNO IP
We look at every matter as a court would.
In twelve years of IP work we have advised foreign and local clients, from companies to private individuals.
We also come from litigation, so we look at each matter as a possible dispute and take steps today that will still hold if the case goes further.
Today our watch work runs on Mantix, a system we built ourselves, so copycat filings are caught early and handled by people who have opposed hundreds of them.
I studied economics and graduated in 2012. When I joined the IP sector in 2014, I knew nothing about trademarks, and the first months were stressful. What kept me going was the research: every file was a small puzzle, and the deeper I went, the more I liked the work. I started in business development, became senior business development manager, and in 2021 co-founded my own IP practice. For the past five years I have worked directly with clients and drafted oppositions against similar marks myself. Nearly every opposition I assessed as winnable has succeeded.
Years of oppositions taught me that the cheapest dispute is the one you catch in the bulletin. That is why we built Mantix.
In 2025 my wife started work as a researcher at a Finnish university, and Finland opened a new chapter for us. I am learning Finnish and building Mantix further. The bulletins come out twice a month wherever I am, and the deadlines are the same.

Why Nemrut
Guardians on the mountain
In 62 BC, King Antiochus I of Commagene built his tomb-sanctuary on the summit of Mount Nemrut, 2,134 metres up in south-eastern Türkiye. He set colossal seated gods around it, eight to nine metres tall, with a lion and an eagle on either side as guardians.
The gods carry Greek and Persian names side by side, because his small kingdom stood between two worlds. Earthquakes have since brought the heads down, and they rest on the terraces today. The tomb itself has never been found.
We took them as our emblem for the same reasons: guardians who keep watch, a practice that stands between two markets, and work that protects what others have built. Each page of this site has one of them at the door.

Our approach
What we stand for
We put honest advice first, even when it means less work for us. We are not here to sell you a service, but to give you the right one and do it properly. Fees can always be earned; a long working relationship is harder to win, and that is what we are after.
- Every match is checked by a consultant before it reaches you
- Matches with little chance of success are not sent
- If an opposition is unlikely to win, we tell you and don't file it
- Your deadline comes before our invoice
